Shankar returns from abroad to discover that his father Jagat Narayan has assumed the role of a Godman and is robbing the gullible people performing petty tricks as miracles. In the name of religion every crime is being perpatrated. 

Shankar rebels against his father and demands the wealth of Ashram to be spent on the people. He is disowned by his father.

To end the reign of superstition and to dethrone his father the hires the services of a renewed magician Goga and brings him to Dharampur.

Pitted against Gota, Jagat Narayan loses and the temple complex is taken over by Goga. Now it appears that Goga is not willing to leave.

Soon all the forces of evil and goodness clash and rom this conflict emerges the message that no human being is God.
